Spring Biking on the Hertz Trail, Lake Whatcom

After a class with Janet Hamilton at the Lightcatcher Museum in Bellingham, this work was hung in the "Fate of the Forest: An Open Hanging" at the museum, Summer of 2011.  The exhibition was curated by David Martin, and was titled: The Art of Elizabeth Colborne, Evergreen Muse.  The focus of her work in the exhibition was the perfect form of trees that are untouched for generations.  The Hertz Trail on our local Lake Whatcom's North Shore is a beautiful peaceful place to walk or bike and enjoy the forest.
